Rimon is a one-stop solution provider whose project execution expertise focuses on three main areas – water and wastewater, gas and energy and water infrastructures. Its solutions for governmental and private sectors located around the globe are customized to meet the unique attributes of each client’s needs and conditions.
As a privately held company with a solid financial foundation, Rimon undertakes large-scale projects where its ability to propose innovative systems that best meet the client’s needs is a key differentiating feature. Specifically, the principle guiding Rimon when it crafts its solutions is implementing the option that offers the optimal total cost of ownership. This is proposed after conducting a thorough analysis of client needs including a lifecycle cost analysis that factors in efficient procurement and on-time delivery, construction, and project handover.
Rimon Group consist of two divisions- Initiation and Construction.
Rimon initiation
Water and waste water- the company covers all types of water and waste water treatment systems providing a full solution to clients. Rimon initiates infrastructure construction, groundwater drilling, upgrade and purification, surface water treatment, pumping stations, conduction and delivery, wastewater and effluent reuse projects, which are environmentally friendly and economically feasible for clients. Rimon's projects lead to savings in both water and costs, and frequently to new revenue streams, particularly in the case of water reuse
Gas and energy- The discovery of natural gas reservoirs in the Israeli Mediterranean off-shore region and its production led Rimon partnered with the Mer Group to create Merimon Natural Gas North Ltd and its partnership with TMNG and Mer Group to create Rotem. Both companies providing cost-effective energy solutions. Via its own modern infrastructure, Merimon Natural Gas and Rotem conduct and distribute clean, natural gas to industrial and domestic facilities for use in generating electricity.
In a related venture, Rimon Energy develops the building of a wind-based power station of up to 50 Megawatts as well as gas and biogas based power stations of up to five Megawatts for use in cogeneration of electricity and heat. Not only are these methods of creating energy sustainable and environmentally friendly but they are highly effective and cut energy expenses by significant percentages.
Water sales - Rimon has established several daughter companies dealing mainly with sales of water for agriculture and drinking water. The company invests in infrastructure facilities as reservoirs with storage capacity of 1,500,000 m³, pipeline systems and water treatment facilities to generate and supply thirty (30) millions cubic meter of irrigation ad drinking water portable for the agriculture, industry and private sector.

Rimon Execution
Ofek Atarim, the construction division of Rimon Ltd leads the execution phase of all projects providing drilling operations using Horizontal Directional Drilling [HDD) and pipeline installation by pipe jacking technology under Rimon's Ltd subsidiary Rimon Drillings. Ofek Atarim holds the highest classifications in the market, enabling it to execute the largest water infrastructure projects worldwide.
The division execute the construction of reservoirs, pump stations, pipelines for drinking and wastewater works etc. Rimon Drilling owns the best available technologies and machinery for the Pipe jacking and HDD projects and relays on years of experience in the execution of complicated and challenging projects, amongst which are the following examples:
Pipe jacking:
- Crossing of the Carmel mountain for the Mekorot water company ( 450 meters, 3.1 meter diameter)
- Crossing route no. 1 for the Mekorot water company ( 120 meters, 3.1 meter diameter)
- Crossing the Rokah Rd. and the train lines in Tel Aviv for the Igudan utility ( 500 meters, 2.16 meter diameter)
- Crossing of route 65 at Kadarim junction, for the S&B construction company ( 150 meters, 3.1 meter diameter)
- Crossing of route 6 ( 6 lanes) for the SHAHAM Mekorot water company ( 150 meters, 1.6 meter diameter)
